Painted Overhead Console Mod(more pics added)

Hey, not sure if this is the right place to post this, but this is my painted overhead console. I guess it could be considered a modification.

let me know what yall think. Not sure if too many people have done this so im not sure if i can call it a one of a kind mod. Its painted to match the outside of my truck color.

No, it wasnt spray painted. I took it to a local body shop and got it proffesionally painted Sonic blue, which is the color of my ranger, heres some other painted stuff in my truck that was done:

I see your other billet pieces on the door switches...what about the AC/heater controls? They would probably look pretty good next to that billet looking stereo!
I have the billet AC knobs and they look pretty good.

Thats next for me, im getting the nuimage white HVAC to match my tremor deck and getting those billet ac/heater controls as well

JHL, that looks real good!

I sanded my console (that rubbery crap Ford has on it is a biiieatch to sand off) and my friend painted mine. Just tedious sanding, priming, filling painting and clearcoating but it was worth it.....He also put an iPod dock in there!

Is that a double DIN cd deck? Did you have any problems fitting it in? Nice paint job, btw. Must've cost you an arm and a leg?

That double DIN is a factory soundsystem option i believe. The '04 sport tracs have the same option now.
