Anyone have this happen before? It comes on for a little and then goes away for a few minutes and then comes back on. Anyone got any ideas of what it could be? Thanks in advance.

The E-Brake warning light is triggered by either the E-brake switch located behind the pedal, or low brake fluid. When you accelerate or decelerate the fluid will be sloshing back and forth within the brake fluid reservoir and cause your intermittent e-light problem.

I checked the level when it first started thinking it was that. It wasnt at the low level but maybe its at that level where when i drive it moves around and triggers the sensor. Ill just add some and see if it goes away. Thanks for the information.

Also see why it is low. Since it is a sealed system it is either a leak or low pads (because the piston is out farther). Adding just masks it, you may need new brakes.
