Parking Brake Light

Hey guys. Here is the deal. I started to see my parking brake light go on and off on the dash on its own while driving down the road, with 100% poistive that the brake was off. Is there some selonoid or something that I need to know about that needs to be replaced? As the days go on, I see it more and more, to the point where it just stays on sometimes. I know right now of a 93 xlt with the same problem, so maybe we can kill two brids with one stone here. Thanks guys for your help! Seth

It's probably that you're low on brake fluid. If you are, the same light as your parking light will come on. Add a little and I bet it goes away. My brake fluid leaks and I usually have to refill it once a week.

It could be the switch on the parking brake also.
