Alright, got another problem over here, This part in the picture circled keeps leaking some sort of liquid, not sure if it is coolant or something else. it does this whenever the heat is on. Whats the name of it and can I change it myself? How much is this part and how hard is it to take off. Thanks

And another question, my battery light has just gone off in my X and I have done some test and I'm still not sure, the battery light came on after going about 80mph on the freeway on my way to work, and it stayed on for 2 days before turning off today. I did some test by reseting the computer, took the negative off for 20min and nothing, called up a friend told me that if I take off the negative while the engine is running, if it stalls the battery is the culprit but the engine was still running... what can it be? a blown fuse?

That is the heater control valve. Mine leaked a couple years back. It's fairly simple (and inexpensive) to replace.

The battery light could be a number of things, like the serpentine belt slipping, or possibly a bad battery or alternator.
