Hi guys,
Have a couple of small problems with my gorgeous black 2001 Sport Trac...
1. The light/key reminder chime doesn't work.
2. The courtesy light does not operate with the drivers door.

I suppose the chime is bad in the one case, but I don't know where to find it under the dash.

For the second problem, I can't find a door jamb switch, so I'm lost on that one too.

Any suggestions would be welcomed..

broken wire that tells the drivers door is open....broken swith in the latch that tells the drivers door is open.
probably a wire though, lots of people find broken wires at the door to body connector. I'm sure there's many threads about finding broken wires there, it will most likely your problem.

edit: there is no door jamb switch, it's in the latch.
