Is there software to look up ford part numbers? Like the dealers use with the illustrations, etc? I tried searching and unable to find, but maybe cuz I don't know what it's called.

Have you checked out http://www.fordparts.com? You can search by model/year or VIN; most parts are accompanied by diagrams.

I was more thinking of software I install on my computer, but that website works pretty good, thanks Crystal. And thanks for the welcome Tony.

Welcome to this forum! Some dealerships use a program from Snap On called CPD 2000. You might be able to find Ford CDs or DVDs on EBay or Helm Publications.
