Hey there,
Its been a long time since i've posted here - good to see there's still lots of support/info :)

My truck chimes every 30 mins for 15 seconds because the passenger side airbag sensor on the rad is not hooked up - it was removed when I installed a tranny cooler...long story.

anyhow, to get rid of the air bag light, i pulled the dash bulb..and now it chimes/beeps like crazy...15 seconds on start up, and every 30 mins i think...drives me nuts...

what can i do? can i disconnect this chime?

thanks
matt.

Put the sensor back on. Safety first1

well i'm not sure where to located it. the initla work was done by a shop...and truthfully I haven't tinkered with my truck in some time - where would i find the sensor?

And to be clear - it 5 x 5 beeping started only after i pulled the blub behind the air bag light...

I believe the reason it's chiming is because there is no bulb. If you put the bulb back in, it won't chime. It senses there is no bulb to warn you.

Exactly. Put the bulb back in and replace the sensor. That's the only way to make the bulb stop lighting and the chime stop chiming.
