Passenger door won't unlock

I have a 2001 Explorer Sport 2 door, and the passenger side door will not unlock manually. I know the actuator is the problem but i was wondering if it is possible to remove the solenoid and use it as just a manual lock. any pictures or in depth explanations on the process would be appreciated. Thanks

If the actuator is the problem, yes it should work. If the latch is the problem(common on 95-01) no it work fix it.
