Hey guys, over the summer I replaced both axles on my 01 V8 EB. I didn't have any problems getting the passenger side in. Everything went smoothly. However, the driver's side was a pain. Anyway, I was under the car recently and it appears that I'm leaking where the axle is mated with the car. Any ideas what the problem is? Do you think I need to replace the stupid axle again? Or do you think it is possible that I can pull it out and reseat it to fix it? I'm guessing that I will have to get a new one and try again.

I assume you also replaced the bearings and seals?
if not it could be as simple as a seal replacement.

why did you have to replace your axle in the first place?

I replaced the entire axle assembly. I didn't have a leak before I replaced the assembly. I thought I greased the spline and the seal before putting it in. Maybe I forgot...

if the donor axle sat around for a while the seals could be junk

Thanks. I might be giving Rock Auto a call. I think that it is still under warranty. I love working on this car  Thanks for your help.
