This has been going on for two days now. My guess/assumption is that the motor is going bad (I hope it's not) but here's what's happening.
I rolled the windows all about halfway down the other day while running in the store for a minute. I come back, goto roll them back up, and they all go up, besides the passenger front. Wouldn't go down any farther either. I reach over to the passenger door to try its button, it wouldn't go down, but it rolled it up.
Got in the car later, all was well. Rolled down and up with both switches. Then the problem came back later that night. I am assuming its the motor because A. The window goes down pretty slow. B. the front of the window tries to go down faster (But that would probably mean bad/dry tracks? I should try to grease them and see if that helps.) but then I one button worked where the other one didn't, so I bet it's just a short.
I don't have a multimeter or test light, but what would be the best way to test the switches?
