2002 4.6L XLT that cranks but won't start. As I'm turning the key the tachometer needle does not move as the engine is cranking which makes me think the PCM isn't sending a signal to the fuel injectors. Long story short, ran out of gas one day and fuel pump went bad. Replaced entire fuel pump assembly as well as the fuel filter, replaced all ignition coils with brand new ones, replaced spark plugs, crankshaft position sensor, and new intake manifold. Fuel rail is getting proper pressure.
Had an issue where the THEFT light would flash erratically and a new battery resolved this problem but is it possible my key code got erased somehow? And thus allowing my engine to crank but not start? Closest I've gotten it to starting is for about two seconds of sputtering that I wouldn't even call started really. More like in between cranking and fully running. Please any help would be very much appreciated
