Hello,

I was wondering if there was any link and program that one could use to scan the codes in an OBD II system with their computer rather than buying an actual code scanner.

Yes, there are sucj critters; however, I do not have any info on them.

I really like the unit I have from www.obd2.com It works great and does not cost a fortune.

I've been looking around for a scanner for a while now. I'm planning to get one from diagtek (www.diagtek.com). Theirs seems to be the best for Fords. The best part is that it works with my Palm so I don't have to lug a laptop out to the car. Plus it looks like it does a lot more than anyone else's tool, unless you start looking at something over $1000. The diagtek one is only $250. Anyone else out there play with one of these?
