PCM location in 98 Sport 4.0 L SOHC

I can't find Tachometer wire for a remote start installation. I know its tan/yellow wire located at PCM module on firewall towards passenger side. I could use some help locating PCM unit. First of all is it located on firewall inside the engine compartment or is it on firewall inside passenger’s cabin? What does it looks like? Any help appreciated.

Its on firewall, passenge side, just where you described. The actual module is inside truck but is accessed from engine bay.

Ok, so this is the huge wide plug screwed to the firewall just beside the hood, right ?
