Could someone tell me where the darn the PCV valve is located on a 98 Explorer (4.0 SOHC engine)?! Thanks.

Wwwaaaaayyyy in the back of the engine! Do a search for pictures of it's location. It's tucked in by the firewall, you'll see the hoses running off it.

Back of engine, drivers side, vaccum going to it from DPFE, very hard to miss, just pull it straight out(up). its mounted in the drivers side valve cover

Yup! Right here on the site.

The hose that goes to the PCV valve comes off the intake. The 2 hoses that go to the DPFE come off the egr pipe.
