I asked this same question a few months back. It is supposedly on the intake manifold towards the back of the engine on the pass. side. After looking and looking I gave up. The dealer will replace it free of charge at 100,000 miles. Look in your periodic maintenance brochure that came with your truck, it tells you the procedures for the PCV valve.

I had the same problem with my v-8 go to the auto store and buy a telescoping mirror it will help you out a bunch. It is back there and the mirror will help. I am glad I bought mine my pcv was out of the mount and venting into the air

So what improvements happenes when u replace it and what happens if you don't
