I have 2 problems that I think are related (but I know almost nothing about cars so I'm not sure) and I figured I would post on here for help since I don't want to drive with this stuff going on.
The first problem is after I had been driving for about 30 minutes a couple days ago, when I took my foot off the gas I noticed that the car was slowing as if I had the brakes pressed about 1/3rd of the way down. It also made it much harder to accelerate and keep a constant speed.
The second thing is that I can press the accelerator a couple inches down and nothing happens, and when I floor it it really doesnt feel like I am accelerating at 100%.

I have time to work on it this weekend so I would really appreciate if someone could get a reply in, even if it's just a link to a thread with a similar problem.

Thanks.

Sounds like the throttle position sensor may be messed up. Do a search on "TPS"

my truck was doing this today!!!!!

try these, push the emergency brake all the way down and then pop it back up.

And if your driving with the ac on try driving with it off.
