I've had them laying in my garage for a LONG time. I put the front ones on, but have NO IDEA how to make the rear ones fit.

Anybody have them? Got a picture of how they're supposed to go on?

how much were the gap guards? do they kind of work like a new wheel well?

They cost somewhere around $70. I think I got them from Off Road Warehouse.

The front ones are larger versions of the flimsy black stuff clipped to your inner fender well. (re-use the factory clips, the ones supplied aren't big enough) The rear ones I'm still trying to figure out. I know I have to drill holes to clip them to, but don't know how it's supposed to fit in there so I will know where to drill them.

They are made of some really thick, though rubber-like stuff. They work very well and look very nice. Looks 1000 times better with them on the front. Now if I can only figure out the rear...

C'mon somebody else has to have bought them. No body lift is complete without them. They've been in my garage for 5 months, just waiting to be put on.

From what I recall they are long rectangular strips that bolt on at a slight angle - starting high up on the left side and slanting downwards at a 30 degree angle. I had to use a drill to make holes, then inserted the little black plugs that are included, then tossed on my own washers at the back to secure them.

Nicholtl.. you gotta any pics of your truck!? It sounds baaaad!

Email krisp12yukon, we put the back ones on. He should be able to tell you how we did it. I have forgotten.

Got any pictures? I really need to see them.

I even went as far as to call Performance Accessories and ask. I understood what the guy (his name was John too) was saying, but still don't see how the guards will fit like he said. He was supposed to email me some pictures, but I guess he got my address wrong because I didn't get them.

Are the fronts and rears different packages or do they come in one?? Also...did the fronts fit it good??? I am just wondering if they were made for it seeing that they don't make a BL for it:confused:

They all come in one package. The front ones fit just fine.

They are made for Explorers. Kit #6731 (I think) is for '95-01 models. (even though it's listed as '96-01)
