Performance Valve Cover Breathers?

I found some info on performance valve cover breathers while looking for intake stuff. Check out the link below. I guess they keep the engine vented better, and they claim more air to the intake which should increase performance. My only question is, on my 94 XLT the vent tubes go directly into the intake, so the MAF never "sees" that air. I wonder if increasing that amount of air would screw things up, since the computer is not taking it into account??? Any body got any experience with these things? Thanks.

Valve cover breathers are only to remove gas build up in the oil pan..They work off of cylinder vacuum..I don't really see how they can increase performance..Unless you have bad rings, and get alot of blow by(copression loss to to weak or broken rings) they really would be of no help..Keep your pcv and oil changed and you will never have to worry about sludge build-up..
