When I installed them, I really noticed the difference via street signs and during the rain and stuff especially, but during the day couldn't tell much of a difference. Hell even with the HID's on my F-150 during hte day, if anything they look dimmer then standard bulbs... BUt light em up at night and watch em fly :).

If you want those whites, super white... Check out my link below on page two. I had the same problem, and did the SUV lights upgrade. Man what a difference it made. The color is awesome.

I didn't notice a difference either with my PIAA superwhites, unfortunately. My current Silverstars may be better on high beams, but that's not saying much either. Considering the Silverstars are cheaper - that alone makes them the better buy.

The problem lies in the vehicle voltage system. If you can supply the head lights with higher voltage you will get brighter, whiter light. No matter what type of bulb you are using. I will put my PIAA's against any Silver Star. As a matter of fact that is a great idea... I need to see if I can locate a lumens test somewhere around here at one of the shops. Settle this once and for all.

I did not notice much of a difference with superwhites either, Hell i forgot i even had them in for a while. :p

my piaa superwhites kept blowing up inside the lamp housing. that sucked, trying to clean all those tiny shards of glass out of them!

ipozestu--where did you get that light upgrade thingy?

I didn't notice any difference in color of the Superwhites and my stock bulbs, but did however notice that a lot more light was emitted onto the road with the PIAA's. I have since moved on to silvania silverstars and they are whiter. They also emit more light onto the road than the stock bulbs did.

actually, after seeing my new lights in the dark, they really do look pretty nice. it is pretty white at night...though not the same white as HIDs of course. HID has almost the feel of fluorescent light; the superwhites still look halogen, just whiter. and on the road it's a lot brighter than my stock bulbs, and look pretty sweet :D i guess i should've known it wouldn't look like HIDs anyhow
