since we're talking about wiper blades...i just wanted to let y'all know that if you want, you can replace the factory 16" or 18" front blades, like i did with 22" blades with no problems whatsoever. "why" you may be asking. because i think it is dumb to have that huge amount of windshield that you can't see through after rain or a wheelin adventure. you replace the wipers with the bigger ones and there is only a fraction of the windshield that doesn't get cleaned by the wipers. this is just an fyi kind of thing...disregard if you wish....oh yeah i'll take some piaa wipers whenever they are ready, matt...hint hint.

Doug,

Do the 22" blades go off the windshield at any places or look odd when in the resting position? I have also noticed that my stock size (I never went any larger or smaller) leave a lot of glass unclean...

no they do not. that was my main concern in doing this. they had to be on glass and neverr touching anything but glass. good luck to you.

sorry guys, i was mistaken...i said earlier that i had gone with 22's, i just measured them again, and i have 21's. i gave an explanation in the bigger is better thread. sorry for the mistake.

What brand and what part number are those blades. I want to replace mine. also where the PIAA's at?

Anyone know when these blades will ship?

Thanks....

I just emailed for an update... I'll let you know once he responds.

ok, unfortunately I guess these got pushed back a bit. They are expecting to have inventory late august/early september.

just as an update, they are saying october 1st as the planned arrival date. I may have mine earlier, but those will be demo versions, not the retail versions. I'll let you know more as I know it myself.

anything new matt? i need new wipers?

Mike

a little off the topic, but can u put any piaa bulbs into the factory 99 bumper foglights? im looking for a bluish bulb to match my noyka headlight ones

Jason-

Post this under the light forum. This is why threds get so off track.

Welp matt Oct 1st is here... and still no word? any new info? i really want new wipers

Mikke, wish I could tell you more, unfortunately I knoly know what they tell me :). I wish I knew because I'm getting anxious for mine too...

I agree with the group purchase idea, I need a new pair myself.

Well, I just got my new Road and Track in the mail today...it's got a large PIAA Super Silicone Wiper advertisement in it - I'm guessing they'll be available within days if not already in stores. Can't wait to get my own :)

yeah, its possible... I'm going to try to swing by my local 4-wheel parts, see when they are going to be able to get them. I'll post the info once I get it.
I wouldn't expect ot see them in tons of stores especially not at first. Most people have no idea who PIAA is so they go to KMart, see Penske or Bosch, go with those... I'd expect to see em at places like 4wheelparts and others, then maybe once they catch on at other "regular" stores.

well, PIAA's finally got the info up on their website... and I'm told they've started distributing information on them to their resellers FINALLY....
I'll be getting my samples out at the SEMA show end of this month and I'll be sure to let everyone know what I find.
I'll be stopping by 4-wheel parts tomorrow and I'lls ee what kind of information I can pick up regarding how much they'll cost, what kind of deals I can get, etc.
