I decided the other day that I wanted to do something to my center counsel that would make it look cleaner and incorporate some switches. So, I took the middle piece out, cut out the cupholders, ashtray, and kleenex slot, filled them in with a little fiberglass, mounted some switches, covered it in tweed, and here's what I came out with:

Are the switches functional to anything?

Right now the first one controls my PIAAs. The other three are for the NAWWWZ. :D

Nice but where would you put the Big Slurpees when you're cruisin'? :D

Looks pretty sweet Hartman! Nice and clean.

where'd you get the tweed from? Ive been lookin for it becauce my console lid is disgusting and wont come clean anymore.

Damn, I have been working on something very similar to that for a while. I left one of the the cupholder's, though.

Nah, his truck is too nice to have food or drink in, its one of those vehicles :-p

No guys I eat in my truck a few times per week. I don't drink any carbinated drinks, so I usually just have bottled water in my truck. If need a cupholder, the space between my legs works fine. ;)

BM, I know I need to do something with my seats. I would really like some Katzkins, but they're a little pricey for me right now. I'm going to get an estimate to get my stock seats covered in tweed.

that looks really good.

on a side note, what do the cloth seats look like? ive never seen an explorer cloth seat...
