Let me know what you guys think. Its not the most professional looking thing in the world, but i'm pretty proud of it because i am not even remotely mechanically inclined. even managed to get the entire front off and on again, and all i have left over are four plastic tabs. for the life of me i can't remember where they came from.

i think i'll keep the grill just because its different. i think its better than the plastic stock grill. i might try to find a higher quality mesh and redo it. we'll see!

I agree you did a very good job! Any plans to paint it or anything? Or just leave it as is? Now that you have some experience, if you plan to do another one it should be cake.

hey thanks guys! yeah the quality of the mesh could be better... but not bad considering the grill cost me $3.

i actually am thinking about painting it. i think it will help it stand out. i'm going to leave it as is for awhile, though.

Some thicker mesh would be really nice. I personally would either paint it black or prime and paint it to a shiney silver again to project it. Othewise match it to other accent colors on your X.

Where did you get the grille, Home Depot? I think you have no choice but to paint it. It'll rust in no time. Looks good though!

yeah i got the mesh at home depot. i think i'll keep my eyes open for a thicker mesh. i didn't think about it rusting....
