Well, after much negotiating, I finally bargained with Hokie to have him install my HU, amp, and Sub. I gave him beer and dinner, and he installed all my stuff..much thanks! Here are some pics of the process. The HU is Pioneer Premier DEH-P660. Notice that beer was involved with the entire process! I'll get pics of the sub and amp up when I get outside next, its just too hot out right now!

I love the XM install. Do you have the model # and everything for that system? I'm interested in getting one myself

Just like a Hokie Engineer.....can't even mount a XM head straight! :p :D

Seriously, everything looks great!!!! :bounce:

Its the XM Commander by Terk. There is no model #, thats just what it is...

I installed that. Notice its level with the pocket, but not with the HU. When you sit in the seat, it looks level, b/c its level with the pockets like I said, not the HU. When you dont look at it straight it on, it looks level, its one of the "illusions" sort of. You would understand if u saw it in person! :chug:

Yeah, i have no claim on the XM install...

I shocked matt though when I told him i could do the amp bypass in like 10 minutes

I think i did the HU with bypass, amp and sub and fixed his XM (basically rewired it) all in just over 2 hours and 4 beers :)

I told him to get pics of a profession amp bypass but he just sat there and drank instead.. punk :p

For some reason my wiring "job" wasnt up to Hokie's standards, I thought I did a damn good job on the XM wires! :chug:

Wow looks great!!

Looks good! Smoking instal for beer and some food :)

Here are pics of the amp and 10 inch sub. It puts out enough bass for what i was looking for. Im not looking to rattle the shingles? off houses!
