Hey, nice set-up!!:D You need to keep me informed with how that works for you. I am planning to put on a front hitch so I can get one of the removable winch mount plates like yours exactly with the 8000xi. I just need to get the $$ first.

Have fun!!

well this is only temp till i can get my front bumper made, the hitch will be welded into the bumper, I did hook up to the tree in my front yard and locked up the wheels and it pulled me pretty easy across my driveway.:D :D :D

Do you think if I welded a hitch to the front somewhere on the frame would it support the weight? I already have a brush guard, do you think it will be in the way? You can check out my website to see my car.

Thanks!!

It should, mine is just bolted on.:D

What type of bumper are you getting made?

a friend of mine works at a welding shop and we are designing one that looks similar to the road armor one, I'm throwing him the cash for the materials and helping him swap motors in his x, we are also swaping trannys , his five speed for my auto, anyway It will be tough as hell looking and very strong, we are going to make sleeves that actually slide on over the ends of the frame and they will be welded all the way around as well as two bolts for added protection. Basically It wont be going anywhere once it is installed.:D :D

looks great Mike

Mike that is one bad ass truck:cool:

thanks, since I bought the bronco this one will be out of order for a while , with the tranny swap and the t-case, but I will update regularly, here is my new ride that i get to mess with, I'm gonna sawzall the back off and paint it black, light and dark gray camo,

Thats a nice little rig

I had a 90 bronco2 lifted it was a nice little truck but that 2.9 on the highway sucked. There is one running around my town with 35's and v-8 its a bad ass little truck.I sold mine when the input shaft on the tranny went south:(

I just couldnt pass this up , $300 and it runs, there are some minor things need to fix up but nothing over $200 so gonna drive to work and back so I stop wearingout my tires and stuff.:D :D :D

For three hundred that is a great deal.just like ex's they made alot of b2's so parts are real easy to come by:D

nice winch. your x look gun.

Sounds like your bumper going to be one of those tough, never break, "who's got the right of way now, lady?" type of bumpers. I like those :D

By the way, I like the BII. For $300, I wouldn't have been able to pass it up either

ya the bumper is gonna kick ass totally custome , nobody is gonna have one like mine and that is the way i want it, there are some cool x's on this board and not too many people know me on here but my truck is gonna be a force to be recon with, and i do all my own work unklike some on this site, I dont have the money to just take my x to someone and say do this , I do it all myself so that makes me feel more satisified to see mine next to the guys that have all the cool stuff when they dont have a clue how to do it ya know. anyway I like my x and i'm planning on doing the solid axle swap soon and yes i am doing it all my self. enough of that thanks and i will keep ya posted, soon to get dana 60 rear and dana 44 front, i haven't run with anyone yet but when they see my rig they will be impressed.

I know what you mean, that's cool.

When's the bumper supposed to be ready? Are we going to get pics?

should be sometime in the next two to three weeks, we have it drawn up and stuff but just have to get the ball rollin, i am pissed though i just bought 4.56 gears and install kits now i dont need them with the different axles, i still need the front but still mad that i even wasted my time on the superlift and not the solid axle . i will keep posted though.
