I am looking at swapping the front 5.0 accessories from an explorer onto a mustang block, for both front clearance and the EDIS pickup. However, I don't really know how it will all fit. Can anyone take some pictures of stuff, like the alternator in relation to the block/head, the A/C compressor, etc? If anyone has an engine on a stand right now it would be really appriciated. I might even paypal you a buck or two :D

I should mention that I am also in the market for these parts, but I don't want to pay a whole lot. I would like to get it all as a package, too - mainly the timing cover, edis pickup, harmonic balancer/pulley/trigger wheel, water pump, and crank sensor.

This was when I pulled my motor out. AC was on the drivers side where the C shape in the bracket is on the drivers side.

Cool! Any pics of the top of the alternator? Is there room for the alt in front of the block?

I don't have any piscs of that off hand. There is not a lot of room there though.

I see. I am hoping I can fit the alternator and power steering pump in front of the block, very close to the timing cover. This is for a junkyard twin turbo setup in a vintage mustang, so space is at a premium, to say the least.
