I think it looks sick!! You have any problems with the clears yet? I wanna see pics of the subs when they are done. Also how did you take off the red stripe on the side?

thanx

actually I just taped it off and paint the damn things. the subs will be done in like a week or so... if you need any info just e-mail me xshlongarx@aol.com

looks pretty cool! never thought of lowering an early model x-plorer, but it looks nice! Also, I noticed you have the Timberline tires. How do you like them? I gave them a thought

the timberline tires are ok nothing great about them but the price I paid 58 bux a piece mounted and balanced

What kind of paint did you use? I just put weather resistant electric tape on them and it had held up for like 3 months now but its not permanent.

yeah the electrical tape thing works awesome.. and its almost the perfect size.. my truck used to look cool as hell with Yellow on the side.. I got the Yellow tape from a electronics store.. but I just used regular Krylon paint or however you spell it.. I just cleaned it with a piece of steel wool.. which took away the shine of it and took off all the other baked on ****.. then I wiped it with thinners real quick.. taped the car off and sprayed.. you gotta do alot of light coats so it doesn't drip. when I get my car repainted and handles shaved I'm taking the moldings off

Can you take the molding off and just clean whatever is holding it on? Did you get an estimate on the painting yet, because I would like to get that done soon.

well I'm guessing you could do that.. but I dunno yet.. I don't know how much it would cost normally but I'm gettin all my body work done.. a complete shaving job and paint for like 1500-2000
