Please Help! Front Right Speaker messed up?

JTang- My mom totally digs the speakers u suggested. For 2.50 she doesnt really care if we replace them. One question though, that speaker looks like a replacement for the rear speakers. If so were can I get replacement speakers for the front? Thanks!!

The speakers are the same size, front and back. The size you want is 5x7 or 6x8.

The speakers from partsexpress.com you were looking at are an 8ohm impedance. Car audio speakers are usually 4 ohm, sometimes 2. The 8ohm impedance is going to sound bad in your stock set up. That speaker is designed for home theater use (home speakers are generally 8ohms )

Hmm, the links that were originally posted aren't working anymore. But you were looking at product #269-488. When you hit the Car Stereo link it's the speaker on the first page, towards the bottom at the right. Like Mrsteve said, they're the same size. It's just that in the back they face sidways, but in the front they're vertical. Even though they are 8 ohms it won't hurt anything. Someone once told me that the stock speakers weren't even 4 ohm anyway, but no one has ever tested them, cause they usually don't care.
