I have a 1996 explorer every once in a while when i go to start it, i can hear the fuel pump kicking on, so i start it and it acts like its getting to much gas or not enough, if u hold the pedal down at a certain spot it will get going after a minute of sputtering but if it does die it will not start up again of about 25 minutes or i can take the air filter hose off and squirt ether in the throttlebody and hold the gas down for about 15-20 seconds it will get going. i have replaced everything that i know. By the way i have the 6cyl. Ive bought a new battery, alternator, starter, the air flow sensor on the top of the engine on the throttlebody, ive looked for vacuum leaks. I give up can anyone please help me. It just does this randomlly it will run good for a few days and then it start acting up for a couple of days
