please help! lowering 06 explorer/mountaineer

i have a 2006 mountaineer that i want to lower, first off does the mountaineer have the same suspension as the explorer? i want like a 2-3inch drop but im stuck and cant figure out how to lower my truck, someone please help me out

I didn't install it. Got rid of the Explorer for a 2010 RAM 1500 4x4.
