need help lowering a 1997 4x4

I have a 1997 ford explorer 4x4. I've done a few mods to it so far, but it is headlights, tail lights, all new speakers and 2 12's. I want to lower it to look something like hydroxy (a fellow member) explorer. At airbagit.com, they have torsion keys, and drop brackets, but is there any other way to do this? Should I shave my roof rack?

well I still need to know how to lower it or which is the best way to lower it. I'm putting 19x9 saleen replica wheels, what tires should I put? And will I bottom out a lot?
