Please help me locate/find front drive shaft for my 97

The CV joint (TC end) went bad on my 97 Mountaineer (3/97 build). After numerous failed attempts to have the local shop reuild the driveshaft, I purchased rebuilt one from Autozone. Unfortunately, the driveshaft (by Cardone) is too long by ~1". When measured, the one from Autozone was 24" weld to weld.

Does anyone know where I can purchase one that will fit? All of the online placed show 24" as the length.

try calling some local junkyards, that will probably be your cheapest option too.
