Many thanks to the two who responded to my first message, which just quickly again was that I can't seem to pop the hood on my '94 explorer, I have tried pulling the correct lever under the steering wheel, not the parking brake release(!), and still to no avail (Weird thing is it was never a problem doing this in the past...). I'm sure there is a problem connecting the wire/cable to the catch behind the grill, but after spending a few anxious moments wedged under my vehicle I still can't seem to trace this cable, and henceforth I am out of ideas on how to open the bloody thing! So, oil light is on, fluids need to be topped up, HOW can I get in there, without breaking the catch behind the grill on the front?? Is there a special way to do it with a screw driver or something??? Thank you once again, and please reply!
