Many thanks to the two who responded to my first message, which just quickly again was that I can't seem to pop the hood on my '94 explorer, I have tried pulling the correct lever under the steering wheel, not the parking brake release(!), and still to no avail (Weird thing is it was never a problem doing this in the past...). I'm sure there is a problem connecting the wire/cable to the catch behind the grill, but after spending a few anxious moments wedged under my vehicle I still can't seem to trace this cable, and henceforth I am out of ideas on how to open the bloody thing! So, oil light is on, fluids need to be topped up, HOW can I get in there, without breaking the catch behind the grill on the front?? Is there a special way to do it with a screw driver or something??? Thank you once again, and please reply!

Search for "hood won't open" and you should find the answers. Was discussed recently in a thread.

P.S. Please do not start a new thread to ask questions related to the problem in your first thread. It just takes up unnecessary bankwidth. Also, you will get less help that way, especially from the members who already responded, and members may not even bother with titles like "PLEASE HELP". Please indicate what you problem is in your title i.e. "Help - Hood Won't Open"

Good luck, and welcome to the site!
