PlEASE.. I need help...........for my trk...

I have a 01 xlt 4.0 sohc 122k on it. started hearing the chatter of the chains and went to have them replaced. ater a long period of time. they said my trk was ready. when I went there. they had the whole top of the motor taken apart. They said ,it was all togather and they were running it to bring it up to temp. they heard a noise and them it stopped. . So Now its back apart. I never heard anything bad about their work , but since the big company mandate on not allowing home repair on the vehicles anymore. I didnt want to try and do it myself..( lets make these so complicated thay have to bring them to us to get worked on.). So my question to ALL of you out there,, What could they have done to not put the chains in correctlly and caused the engine to malfunction.......... The motor had no leakage of any fluid,religiously had mantainance on it. oil. trans. radiator, brake. fluids changed... I think thay may hve put it togather wrong.. any helpful hints what may have caused it...... email me direct.... ducrnd@yahoo.com

The only person that's going to know what went wrong is the guy who takes it back apart.
Let them do their job and fix it.

I agree with my98nnj, wait and see what the shop says after they have had a reasonable amount of time to investigate. There are all types of possibilities but any of our comments would just be speculations since we have no first hand knowledge.
