Has anyone used a poly kit? I have to rebuild the front end and am looking for something a little stiffer but have heard they squeak a lot. How do they preform off-road? Any comments would be of great help. Thanx. C-YA

I just installed front & rear poly sway bar bushings this past weekend. The kit included bar and endlink bushings, both sets were $51 shipped. Well worth the money!! I put Edelbrock shocks on about 2 weeks ago, they made an improvement but dollar for dollar I'd say the bushings won. But, my '91 had original rubber ones and I have about 182,000 miles on it. They needed replacing but you can't beat the improvement for only $50. I already had poly radius arm bushings. To make removal of the endlink bushings faster I used a propane torch to burn the old rubber out. They came with a small pack grease but I used liberal amounts of bearing grease and had no squeeks at all. My next purchase will be new tires, the current ones are non-responsive radials. They ride good but are a little too "soft".
