poor guy with a bum transmission 1993 xlt auto

i have a 1993 ford explorer xlt ...a while back my transmission was slipping...i inspected the undercarriage and noticed a hose was disconnected i re connected it to the little diaphragm on the tranny and booo yaa ..no more slippie...and then aa month later slippies again ...hose undone again ....fast forward three months later ...Halloween night revered heard a loud clunk drove off then noticed no more reverse...i changed the oil and filter but still same thying drives under load..lack of power ...no reverse...and the weird thing in neutral car wont roll back......any ideas besides the obvious of replacing ...budgets tight ...please help

Try replacing your vacuum modulator. If your slip was from losing fluid, that should help. Maybe someone else will help with your reverse problem.
