Well when I installed my new speakers I was unaware at the time that adapters were sold to connect the new speakers with the stock connector. Anyway, all i did was cut that connector off and then use butt connector to connect the speaker wire that came with my new speakers. My question is that when i did this, there was no way to tell if my pos neg wires on the stock part were connecting to the pos neg terminals on the speaker since the wires weren't labeled on the stock part. I tried both ways and didn't notice any difference in sound between having the wires the correct way or reversed. The trouble is i can't tell if they are reversed or not. They may or they might not be. Will my speakers be damaged if the pos is actually ocnnected to the neg and the neg to the pos? Heh, finally got to the question:rolleyes:

Been running for several months now and sound fine

no damage- but having speakers out of phase (what would happen if they wired differently between the different doors) will lead to cancelation.

i can get you the wire colors in the doors for pos and neg if you need me to and you want to check.

Please do! Yhat would be awesome!

Thanks

Very nice, except when I am at a complete stop with foot on brake (ie at a light) the muffler will resonate and make the car vibrate, is that normal? little off topic but whatever
