I posted a question about hesitation during acceleration and problems shifting, and found out that the dealership that serviced my '02 Explorer "forgot" to put in 2 quarts of transmission fluid (can't remember who replied to my post, but thanks!). I was driving it around for a month or so (since the problems were at best intermittent, but noticeable). Could there possibly be any lasting damage done to the transmission by driving it around with 2 quarts low? If so, what should I ask the repair shop to check for? I'm trying not to use this shop anymore, because I'm convinced they damage something when they fix something else, just so you have to come back in. Thanks again!
