Possible to keep certain features after replacing a stereo?

Hey friends, sorry if this has been posted before, I did attempt to do a search and found many results for not my model car. I have a 2011 Exploder XLT and I believe it has Sync 3. There are features I like, such as getting access to climate control from the steering wheel, and getting directions sent up to the instrument cluster for navigation. I do however wish I had android auto. What I really want to know is if it's possible to keep these features while replacing the stereo. I've seen one product that claims to keep that interactivity (an iDatalink Maestro) but I remain uncertain. Any pointers would be nice, ty

Unless someone changed it, the 2011 would not have Sync 3. I believe Sync 3 came out with the 2016 Explorer.
