I have to laugh at this guy on off-topic. He posted a pic of his 2001 sport and said it was dropped 8". It turns out it is 5" lower in the front and 8" in the back. He says he bought a lowering kit for a chevy and customized it for an explorer. He also says he spent over $2000 on the kit. You should check out the posts, it's very funny. Dead Link Removed

yeah , I saw that posted here a couple dayz ago and questioned it myself .... I would agree w/ a 4-5 drop , no more than that .... It is the nicest Dropped X I've seen , but the owner is FOS . After seeing it I went to Ford to check the price tag on em' , but I havta wait till next year to buy . I have my heart set on a 4dr F150 w/ 23's .

I am not out to get anyone, but the guy on off-topic deserves it. It's one thing to say your sport is lowered 8" when it's not, but when you say you spent over $2000 on it and you just flat out lie about other thing you grab my attention. I just rubbed his face in some major **** and I'm proud of it. Check it out on the site and notice how he hasn't replied in a while. I think he's scared.

he told the partial truth..the rear is lowered 8 inches, i guess..and the front about 5 1/2 or 6"..whatever..however he might have spent that money..if he did he shoulda just bagged his car. gotta admit his car is nice though

The rear can't be lowered 8". Sports have a saggy ass-end from the factory, so how can the rear be lowered more than the front and still be level all around?
