Hello all;
My 98 X suddenly the other day, when driving on the highway (55mph) 'bucked'. Felt almost like going over a bump, yet there was no bump. Didn't think much of it, but the next day it did it once, and again yesterday. I have an appt with the shop Tues. It has 68,000 miles, and I had the tranny flushed at 55k. Other than above it seems to run normal. Is the tranny about to go??? I have an extended warranty (thank goodness).

thanks

yeah, and I can't type either.. I have a 99 Explorer sport! arrgh.. thanks

well i can help ya mabey atleased give u a bump lol

i think theres a point when trannys act funny but arent in need of a rebuild just repair new fuild or whatever..i also think that that point isnt to far from the tranny being totaled so id get it tested by a tranny shop ASAP they MIGHT be able to fix it w.o the total and complete rebuild i also dont think its that much to have a diagnostick done

dont quote me on that cause i am probably wrong..but mabey im sorta right =) half truth lol

i hope u get it fixed soon..marry x-mas

Could have been a random misfire. Check your sparkplugs, wires, and maybe coil packs.
