Bad tranny?

I have a 2004 ford explorer xlt. It will drive in 1st and 2nd gear but will not in drive and will not move in reverse? What is most likely the problem

Direct clutch maybe. Look at the application chart on page 2 of this document. The direct clutch is not applied in manual 1st and 2nd, but is applied in drive and reverse.
