Hey guys. I rewired all the door speakers to my exp and put the new speakers in. I ran the signal wires for these speakers down both sides of the vehicle. Now, on the passenger side of the car I ran the three sets of RCA cables to go to the back to the amps.

My question is... can I run my 0/1 gauge wire down the drivers side of the vehicle next to my drivers side door speaker signal wires? Will this cause noise or other problems?

If not, where should I run my power cable? Putting the drivers side door speakers wires somewhere else is out of the question.

Thanks,
Joe:nono:

where is your 0 gauge wire coming out. there should be a hole under the passenger side carpet you may have to push carpet back some to see this. run it down the hole up your front wheel well to your battery. (since you have the 00' model isnt the battery on the drivers side? if so just do this on drivers side instead there should be a hole there also and do the same thing as if it were on your passenger side.) as for the inside just run the 0 gauge along the outside or the factory wiring holder. i wouldnt recommend running your 0 gauge with your rca connectors that may cause interference. 0 gauge wire pushes alot of current. if you would of took all your carpet out you could of ran your rca connectors straight up the middle underneath console. thats what i did to make sure no interference would of occured. but what i told you should work.

ok so..

i'll try running the 0/1 guage wire up the middle but I think that would be a lot of work. i guess i have no other choice unless i run it underneath the car somehow.

anyone else know if this 0/1 guage wire would interfere if placed next to my drivers side speaker input wires? these are not the RCA cables but the wires coming from an amplifier.

i dont see how this could interfere you already have 2 sets of wire from drivers side running through there. i wouldnt run it under car it may get damaged. keep the wire covered as best as possible when you do have to run under car. i dont think there will be room to put 0 gauge in that little area where your speaker wire is i tried doing that with my 0 gauge and it wouldnt fit. just run the 0 gauge right next to that tray thing that is your only option really if your not going to take out carpet.

If you run power wire next to amp wire you will be perfectly fine, unless its an RCA. RCAs are the sound signal wires, so those are the only ones you really need to worry about.
