I have installed an aftermarket stereo and all works fine except that I cant find any info (this forum or google) about the radio antenna trigger wire for 2003 XLT. Can anyone please help with this? There seems to be two radio antenna cable plugged into my stock headunit, one is orange which looks like a regular antenna and that plugs fine into my new stereo. Would it be something to do with the other cable - not quite sure what it is for?

Generally speaking, the power antenna wire hooks up to the remote wire from the aftermarket HU. I'm not too familiar with power antennas on Explorers, my Mounty doesn't have one.

thanks but the power antenna wire on my explorer is what I am looking for...I cant find any unused wire in blue(or mixed with blue) on the stock harness.
