power antenna

Does anyone know how to get the power antenna to work with an aftermarket HU. Right now I just used a 9-volt battery and raised the antenna in the up position and just leave it up. I dont really want it to stay this way though, becuase I think it will get broken. Any help that you guys can give would be really appreciated.

I am not sure with Fords but with another car I had, when I installed the aftermarket headunit, there was a solid royal blue wire that was bundled with the wiring for the car, then I just spliced that and connected it with the royal blue wire on the wire harness for the aftermarket HU. It worked great. I hope this helps somewhat.
