Power Door Lock Problem

2002 Sport. Keyfob remote is not unlocking the doors. When you hit the unlock button, the inside lights and puddle lights come on, but doors do not unlock. I have to use a key to unlock the doors. Any ideas? Recently started happening. On occasion, the keyfob will unlock, but it is rare.

battery may be dying in the remote.... or your door lock could be sticking... wd-40 might loosen.

Yes, locks work fine from inside, and with key.

check first the battery in the remote and if it doesn`t fix the problem reprogramme the remote to the car.
