My moonroof will move but not close and it seems to be getting jammed with the sun shade about 1/4 way closed. The sun shade has been out of whack for a while since someone decided to let my son stand on the seats and play with it (someone who has no idea how much work it is to repair automobiles and will never be on the paying end of these types of mistakes). Shortly after the exercise in stupidity referred to above, I noticed the sun shade not correctly working as well as a piece of plastic which runs under the glass being broken. Now it seems the shade which has been off track has caused the glass assembly to get jammed open. I am tempted to break out the sun shade if that will allow the glass to close, but figured I'd ask if anyone had any better suggestions here. I have already wrestled the sun shade part and tried various pushing twisting etc to try and free the moon roof from the sun shade and it moves but still will get visibly binded up about 1/4 closed. Any ideas?
