I am trying to wire in some power seats. Got the juice going into the harness in the seat. Lumbar works, goes up/down and foward. Problem is it won't go back. It looks like there is one motor that moves the seat foward and back and there are 2 motors that move it up and down. They are '98 eddie baurer seats

any ideas what could be wrong?

I thought maybe the switch was bad but i checked the wire at the harness connector before the motors and i get juice there when i hit the back button.

Any help would be great. Thanks

I'm just throwin this out there since I had a similar difficulties with my 02 seats. My problem was due to lack of power. My seats would go up and down but not forward and back. On my 04 seats the forward and back was the same motor. I have 95 limited donor seats if you need any parts give me a yell.

I am thinking the problem is in the switch. It is shorting out some how when I try to move the seat back. I can't really figure out why it isn't working, but the track moves fine when using the switch from the other seat i have.

Anybody know how much one of those switchs costs?

My power seat motor started slowing down.Sometimes it would not go all the way in either direction. Even without anybody on the seat when it was adjusting. I had a mechanic look at it and he said it would need replacement to fix. Dealer wanted $400 for the whole assembly!!! "Motor is not available as a seperate item" they said. It's still there. Anybody know where to get a replacement moter for the seat adjust?

Get them off a trashed seat from a junkyard.
