The driver side power seat has quit on my 02 explorer. I found a blown fuse under the hood and replaced it but it popped as soon as I tried the seat again. Getting ready to check the wiring with the ohm meter and read in a Haynes manual that it was possible to set off the air bag or the seat belt tensioner with the ohm meter. And that is with the battery unhooked. Can any one help me with this? Or maybe a wiring schematic?

Had same problem. Lost all power to drivers seat. Found wire broke under seat where it branches off. Cut the carpet a bit for easier access and spliced it back together. Wire flexes a lot there

Power seat movement is totally different circuit than airbag.
