I have a 97 Mountaineer w/ 130k miles. 3in bl, 2tt and 32's. 302, AWD. I had the heads redone and just started replacing things. I changed out the rack with a reman from Detroit Axle. It ran great for about a week. Put about 200miles on it. Then I lost all POWER in the steering. Completely manual steering now. No leaks, squeals, noises or anything. The resevoir is full. I lifted the truck up and turned the wheel lock to lock 10 times and there was no change. I can see the fluid moving around in the resevoir, but hear no "normal" power steering pump noises when the truck is running and I turn the wheel.

Any Ideas??

Thanx!

Fixed It! Bad Steering pump!! \ll/
