My power steering hose leaks a little bit but only needs a very small amount of fluid every month or so. The main thing I am worried about is that it's kind of noisey when turning (ie: backing out of a driveway and turning the wheel about half-way). There are no actual problems in the steering or noticeable problems with it other than the noise that comes from the pump. It's just generally pretty noisey and clicks a bit.

Should I worry about this?

If your PS fluid got too low you could cause accelerated wear on the bearings which will result in a whine. Nothing much you can do except to try some PS treatments as mentioned above..

My hose was petrified and leaking when i bought it, so i replaced the hose with new one. mine wines quite a bit but i have had no problem with it for about 2 years now.
